Services Offered:
Initial Assessment - 1 hour
During your first appointment I gather a lot of information from you about your pets lifestyle, nutrition and their previous medical history, along with your goals and expectations for their future.
Please ask your primary veterinarian to email a copy of your pets history in advance to info@animalrehabvet.co.nz.
I will perform a musculoskeletal physical examination. This may include measurements, stance/gait analysis or exercises to attempt to isolate the areas that are causing problems. In some cases I may recommend additional tests to be done at your regular veterinary practice. A treatment program specific to your pets needs will be created and a summary report will be emailed to you and your referring veterinarian. Cost - $150
Follow up
This is where I will perform treatments, review homework exercises and, when appropriate, repeat measurements to assess your animal's progress. If we make an adjustment to your pets treatment plan a summary report will be emailed to you and your referring veterinarian. Duration of this appointment is determined by your pets needs.
Cost 45 - 60 minutes - $100
30 - 45 minutes - $85
30 minutes - $75
Therapeutic Laser Treatment is a non medicinal aid in pain control and tissue healing for both acute and chronic conditions. Laser may be used as one of the treatments in your pets therapy program. It is also available without manual therapies or an exercise program after an initial assessment or under your veterinarians instruction. Duration of appointment will depend on the number of areas treated.
PAYMENT METHODS: Payment is strictly at the time of appointment or in advance by Cash or EFTPOS.
VET REFERRALS: Please email a brief summary of your findings and outline any specific areas you would like us to focus on. Please attach a full history of the patient and any relevant radiographs to the email.
